Meg Stone
Alpaca Trek Leader & Animal Care Tutor
Meg has a BSc in Animal Biology and MSc in Applied Ecology! She loves being outdoors and in nature and also helps run her family sheep farm.
You will find Meg walking Thunder during her treks leading and exploring the woods with groups as an Animal Care Tutor.

Mollie-May Campbell
Alpaca Trek Leader
Mollie-May is studying Veterinary Medicine and is currently learning about all things alpaca. Mollie-May is animal mad and has a passion for horses. You will see Mollie out on our alpaca walks and experiences and hugging random animals around the farm!

Charlotte Sugden
Alpaca Trek Leader
Charlotte has kept alpacas previously and Sultan, Thanos and Sovereign actually used to belong to her. Charlotte loves to be involved with things on the farm and she runs some of our weekend alpaca treks during the busier season.

Lucy Thornton
Founder &
Project Manager
Owner of Thornwood Alpacas and voluntary director of Thornwood CIC. As a qualified teacher, Lucy loves facilitating sessions. Lucy has a background in teaching young people with learning disabilities and has worked with disaffected and disadvantaged teenagers. She can usually be found in the woods, hanging out with the alpacas or training her three border collies.

Stephen Feather
Voluntary Director
Stephen has an affinity for the outdoors and has an interest in survival skills and bushcraft. He is a natural craftsman and is keen to share his heritage skills and woodland skills with our groups. Stephen is a voluntary director of Thornwood CIC and is responsible for the maintenance of farmland and buildings.

Lizzie Lee
Farm Supervisoer &
Voluntary Director
Lizzie is a true naturalist. Her previously worked as a behaviour mentor in schools and now runs a small outdoor learning business. Lizzie delivers sessions on an ad-hoc basis so you may find her taking photos, lighting a fire or delivering a pewter casting workshop.


Hanna Leadbeater
Volunteer
Hanna has a passion for the outdoors and bringing out the best in everyone she works with. Hanna trained as chef and has since developed her skills in therapeutic Horticulture and can be currently be found volunteering with groups in all areas of the care farm.

Dr. Becky Hull
Clinical Psychologist &
Voluntary Director
Becky specialises in adult autism and complex mental health and currently works for a charity in Lancashire. Becky plans to utilise our woodland to deliver mindfulness sessions as well as facilitating woodland well-being programmes for hard to reach groups.
