Here at Thornwood, we are a small scale working farm set on 100 acres of grassland, located just beneath Haworth Moor. We aim to help you reach your potential through accessing our living resources on the farm.
We provide health, social and educational services for vulnerable groups of people including those with mental health problems, learning disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorders. We also offer services for disadvantaged and disaffected young people in and out of main stream school and opportunities for individuals to help improve their employment opportunities.
We are open all year round and can facilitate sessions for small groups to achieve qualifications such as BTEC, AQA and ABC Awards in Animal Care & Land Based topics. We also offer a more specialised one to one service.

We accept referrals from all agencies as well self referrals. Once we have made contact, we will invite you to the farm for a look around and work out a plan to meet your needs and outcomes.
