ALPACA TREKS & EXPERIENCES
Walking our alpacas is a fun and memorable experience for everyone and there's plenty of other animals to meet along the way!
You'll be welcomed with a short talk about all things alpaca then you will meet and choose your walking buddy and help prepare them for the walk.
We will head out through farmland and moorland following the footsteps of the Brontë sisters and take in the beautiful local scenery.
Upon return to the farm, you will relax with your alpaca and take the time to meet some of our other wonderful animals.

£25 per adult (12+)
£10 per child (under 12)
Children aged 6-11 must share an alpaca with a paying adult.
Alpaca Trekking is not suitable for children under the age of 6 years of age due to the sensitive nature of alpacas.
Days and times:
Our walks run every weekend, usually twice per day during peak season and we also have some walks during the week
We do take multiple bookings for each trek so please let us know if you would prefer to trek as a private group.
We aim to make your experience a truly memorable one!
We are a private farm & not open daily, please pre-book your visit.
This is our home and all activities must be booked in advance.
We can tailor your group visit to suit your needs, e.g. Scout groups, clubs, special needs centres, and schools. We can do alpaca walking in a paddock and can increase the number of people/children per alpaca therefore reducing the cost per person.
Sorry strictly no dogs.
We have various trek routes, some of which are wheelchair accessible ( we do not currently have wheelchair friendly facilities).
Younger children (age 5+) are very welcome to join us and walk Herbert the Super Sheep!

Alpaca Adventure - Off Farm Trek
If you fancy a little more adventure in your life, this is the experience for you. After our health and safety briefing, we take our alpaca out into the Bronte hills for an intrepid adventure. We follow the path from the farm, up 'Stairs' hill and out on the moors. After walking at alpaca pace (very steady), through the countryside there is an opportunity for a snack stop at our exclusive rest stop. You can allow your alpaca to graze, bring yourself a snack and drink and take in the scenery of the Bronte hills.
This experience lasts approximately 2.5 hours and covers a distance of around 3 miles. There is some rugged terrain but mostly unsealed roads and there is a rather large hill that we take very slowly, at alpaca pace.
We have a rest stop and photo opportunity at the top of the walk before heading back to the farm. If you would like to bring a snack and a flask, please feel free.
This route is suitable for adults and children over the age of 16 only walking one alpaca per person. This experience is for those with an adventurous personality and we do advise a medium level of fitness and good mobility.
£35 Adults and children over 16 walking their own alpaca
Snacks and Drinks
Please feel free to bring along a rucksack with a hot drink and snack for our rest stop at the top of the trek. Oh, and carrots or sugar snap peas for your alpaca buddy...you'll need to stock up on these!
