If you know someone who is mad about alpacas and animals, why not arrange for them to visit the farm and shadow us for the day. This experience is suitable for everyone and as with all our experiences, can be tailor made to suit your needs. Here's what you can expect:

π¦ Meet your session leader for Health & Safety briefing
π¦ Help with morning hay and animal feeds
π¦ The mucky jobs!
π¦ Meet our herd of alpacas and hand feed them
π¦ Help to train the alpacas carry out any routine husbandry
π¦ Handle the ferrets, hens, ducks
π¦ Walk the alpacas, goats or sheep
π¦ Help with any 'unexpected farm tasks' that may occur (you never know what to expect when working with animals)
Days and Times
Days: We run out Alpaca Keeper Experience sessions on Tuesdays and Saturdays all year round. Your experience is valid for one year from the date of purchase and you will need to book in advance.

βAll our keeper experiences sessions are currently bookable as a 1:1 session however, there may be other activities being carried on the farm during your visit.

Please get in touch directly to book your Alpaca Keeper Experience. Please arrive promptly for 9:15am, the animals do not like to wait for their breakfast!

Supervision
β
Junior Alpaca Keepers are able to share their experience with one adult for no additional charge. Additional attendees will be required to pay an additional fee. We do not require junior keepers to be supervised during their session and they will be working alongside a member of staff throughout.

What to bring
β
This is a mucky job! Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear that you don't mind getting wet or muddy. Waterproofs are essential! We will have time for a snack mid morning so please bring a flask and food with you.
